Granted it's the Queen and all that but...all that advertisement about the video and getting everyone hyped for what? a little west african step, crawling in the sand (like she did before in Baby Boy), and some marching/hip rolling/hair whipping? GWARL..this is 2011, Imma need something more spectacular! I just felt like the video "was good, but it wasn't great" as TyraB would say. Now I'm no big shot choreographer nor dancer, but real recognize real and Miss Bey kind of left some of us feeling dissatisfied. 

NOW THIS, RIGHT HERE, IS WASSUP!! I mean, yes the choreography was simple and made to fit Lady Gaga's style of movement; BUT, everyone in the video killed it. It was in synced, precise, energized, and all together great to watch!! Disagree with me if you must but Lady Gaga did this video. Richard Jackson is DEVOURING the choreography!!! Definitely one of my favorite dancers!!

MAJOR UPDATE!!!

Greetings Everyone!!!!

I know it's been MONTHS since my last post but I'm back. I have been going through so much it's kind of crazy!!! Since my last entry, I've been trying to get my grades up so I can AT LEAST have a 3.0 this year (which I did, Thank You Jesus), went to Philadelphia with my dance sisters and faculty to perform for one of our choreographers. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN, probably because we were stationed in a hotel that was in the center of the gay community. *skeeter shrug* Now that the summer has begun, I have been given the opportunity to lead a Hip-Hop Aerobics class for my dear Auntie, and make that chetta!! TOO EXCITED!!! Hmm....Oh yea!!! For the entire month of July I will be staying in LA for the Debbie Allen Sumer Intensive!! Cra cra, right? Geesh!! Idk what to say or do right now!!

It feels great to blog again! iPromise to be more prompt and committed to this!! I know you guys want to stay adrift in the KNOWING of skeeter's life so I will do better at letting you guys do just that.

Um...I've lost weight...gained some back....trying to loose even more o_O I don't have a boo; however, there's this one kidd who has really captured my attention. Got a job, BANK, great personality and cute. We'll see how that works out :)

Have you all seen Beyonce's and Lady Gaga's videos? I'll post them and give you my take on the choreography :) ALSO, DEJAN TUBIC HAS NEW POSTINGS!!!!!!!!!! I FN LOVE HIM!!!!! ugh...if i could just rape his creative mind.....LOL jk!!!!

Julien Coulon, co-founder of Cedexis, a French Internet performance monitoring and traffic management system, added: "In 24 hours we have lost 97 percent of Egyptian Internet traffic.

According to Renesys, a US Internet monitoring company, Egypt'sfour main Internet service providers cut off international access to their customers in a near simultaneous move at 2234 GMT on Thursday.

Around 23 million Egyptians have either regular or occasional access to the Internet, according to official figures, more than a quarter of the population.

"In an action unprecedented in Internet history, the Egyptian government appears to have ordered service providers to shut down all international connections to the Internet," James Cowie of Renesys said in a blog post.

Currently in my dorm watching Transformers 2 on a TV my fraternity brother graciously gave to me :)
Surprisingly, there is a lot of symbolism and irony written into this script..after having watched it for (starts to count on fingers) blah times? It's amazing how much Hollywood incorporates religion and then just plays with it to see how much people are really paying attention

There has been quite a plethora of events and developments that has taken place within my life upon my return to the illustrious Howard U.
Lets just do a little organizing of this little "411" session shall we?

~School: After my long recess, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would've been to transition back into the routine of getting up for class at 7am. My classes are all VERY fun and I enjoy waking up every day learning something new (no, really, I do enjoy learning and becoming better in my craft)

~Love: Hmm...I'm single. Over the break, I came to the conclusion that the BEST step for me is to just not get involved with anyone at the moment. What more is there to say?

~Religion: Well, this would take up a book and a sequel; however, I'll try to be as concise and precise as possible. I'm on a journey to seek God's answers for why some things in my life are the way they are...which is another reason why I'm single. Being tied down to someone right now isn't going to do any good in assisting me in my development.

That's about the gist of things. I'll try and provide more postings about my favorite things (and then I won't feel...so bad....*sound of music moment*) Tomorrow I will be auditioning for one piece of the spring concert I'm told I must be apart of...so....it's about that time I lay it down. Hope you guys have a safe and blessed rest of the week...well....weekend :)

Expiration dates! They are not there for just show. Some people I know seem to believe that the refrigerator and freezer do a well enough job preserving food longer than it's intended due date. PERSONALLY ( I don't care how much money a person wants to spend) I wouldn't dare eat anything past the date printed on the cover...ok maybe a day or two but not a week. I will NOT have indigestion nor any other bowel issues because of eating something past its expiration.

Something Good To Hear

B.o.B is what I like to call a revolutionary artist. This somewhat new native Atlanta underground rapper has taken the hip-hop industry and the billboard by storm. In his bio (you can read at http://www.bobatl.com/bio/ ) He started rapping at 13 and began producing music when he formed the group The Klinic with his MC-ing cousin. Aside from his developing profession, he has his own unique swag with his stylish urban wardrobe and his laid back personality. He's had three albums produced since his jump off but his most recent album, B.o.B Presents  The Adventures of Bobby Ray which was released in April and still selling, has caught my attention. I'm not going to blab on about his album and his work because it really does speak for itself.

I found this video of "The Watchers"this morning that is highlighting the ever-so popular topic **drumroll** THE ILLUMINATI. B.o.B is just saying be your own self and do what you do. Believe what you want to believe because the "watchers" are going to watch you nonetheless; in essence, f**k the illuminati and live life. Watch and feel free to comment.
